A story at BethlehemPatch

Thanks to Dan Church for the great story on our patrol and our visit to the Junior Police Academy at Nitschman Middle School.

On Day Three of Bethlehem’s Junior Police Academy, two mounted members of the three-member squad shared horse lore and outlined the advantages offered by mounted officers in police work. In this, the program’s sixth year, about 24 students participated, from middle and high school.

We had a wonderful time meeting the young Academy participants—a really great group—and we wish them luck in their future endeavors.
